Built just like a real home, the walls are framed with 2×4 studs at 16″ on center and a double top plate for maximum strength. The 92 5/8″ framing studs create walls that stand at 8′-1″ high, giving your shed a spacious, open feel.

This plan features two door options for easy entry and larger equipment storage:

Designed with T-111 exterior siding in mind, but easily adaptable to vinyl or other siding options if you prefer.

Strong Roof Structure with Classic Aesthetic
The roof uses 2×6 rafters with a ridge board, sheeted with 1/2″ OSB. Detailed rafter dimensions and cut angles are provided, allowing you to pre-assemble the rafters on the ground for easy installation.

Smart Finishing Touches
• ✔ Roof Overhangs: 10″ on both sides and gable ends for better weather protection
• ✔ Trim Materials: 1×4 and 1×6 wood, Masonite, or cement board to finish corners, eaves, fascia, and doors.

• ✔ Floor Load Capacity: 50 pounds per square foot—no “spongy” floors here!
• ✔ Roof Snow Load: 40 pounds per square foot—perfect for most climates. If you’re in a high-snow area, contact us for stronger framing recommendations.
